“Let’s go practice.”
“My, that was romantic,” Claire quipped, hurrying down the hallway matching Max stride for stride.
Max stopped abruptly. “I didn’t think you were looking for romance.”
“I’m not,” Claire quickly backpedaled. They resumed walking. “But,” she flashed her eyebrow, “I am a woman and I don’t want to be taken for granted. You could’ve said, Claire, would you like to go back to our suite and practice having sex?”
“Ah.” Max stopped them midstride. He turned and cradled her chin between strong fingers. “Claire, would you like to go back to our suite and practice having sex with me?”
